I don't understand your problem I have just sent myself a fax from here in the UK and
also asked my chauffer to send one from my house in Monaco and there is no problem.
My Fax number is 070 920 XXX XX
To dial this outside of the UK you dial +44 70 920 XXX XX
I can not explain your problems as there appears to be nothing wrong. The number is
not a mobile phone. Your bank clearly does not understand the new deregulated UK
voice and data carrier market. All I can suggest you do is try again.
The premium rate fax number does work. They are just too dumb or too mean to use it
