This is late reply, but i hope it is seen. This is terrorism sevencardz i agree with you. Also I am 20 something, right on two counts. But im not angry and i have a shitload else to do.
1. This is about money-nothing else to these criminals. yes its terrorism, but so too you could make the argument about anything terrorizes: george bush, rabid japanese monkeys, the berlin blitz...etc. The goal no doubt is money, attention has nothing to do with it. There is no way what we are doing supports these people or terrorism generally. Im not trying to be rude, but if you think otherwise you need to make a logical argument otherwise, not just spout off about what you do not like in this world. Try this, take us through a scenario in which a terrorist would be aided by any scenario here any more than by me watching the boob tube- the whole "being diverted" argument is worthless.
2. Some people here have a noble purpose. Good for them. My interest (along with most people) is to mess with people who deserve messing with FOR FUN!!! Consider it a leisure activity... personally i find its better (more creative and stimulating) than watching re-runs, sewing national flags or smoking crystal meth. It seems that you really are just judging what people do with their time. Wow- you could spend your whole life doing that, but I might ask....What is YOUR point?
