I received an email from the address that you mention...<rip@yahoo.com>

When I went to my email Inbox, I noticed an email from a "Lindsay", with the sender's address is <rip@yahoo.com>.
The Subject of the email read only- "Your Suprises!"

I automatically assumed that I must know the sender of this email since it seemed like an casual attempt to get my attention, and/or prompt a response from me.

I was a little hesitant at first when I decided to open the message. However, I did it anyways- only to find absolutely no text in the body of this email. It only had the msg. header with the name- "Lindsay" & the subject reading- "your surprises!"

I'm a little concerned about this email! Does opening the email put me and/or my computer at risk? Can a hacker gain access to my computer protocol and personal information simply because I made an unwise decision to "Trust the Sender"? If so- what can I do & how should I take action? Also, is there any way I can check the current settings on my computer to see if someone is currently monitoring my every keystroke & transaction?

People should Respect the Privacy of Others! The one's who don't- need to consider how they wouldn't like it if what they do- was done to them- Then STOP! There shouldn't be any tolerance of that type of criminal behavior- hence, that type of individual!

Help! Any Info. is very mcuh appreciated!
